Surgery!

Alexes is now 5 days old and making small progress. Her body was bruised and the skin is paper thin, but we are finally getting some decent color in her. Because of her premature birth one of her heart valves isn't closing on its own, so tomorrow she is having surgery to clamp that valve and help it close. The doctors say it's a pretty simple procedure and feel confident for surgery.  Please continue to keep baby Alexes in your thoughts and prayers.
